Tartu New Theatre is located in the Old Town, next to the Botanical Garden.
Entrance is under the theatre flags, unless stated otherwise.

Bicycle parking is available in front of and next to the building. The nearest Tartu city bike stations are on Rüütli Street (by the Sports Museum) and near Ujula Konsum, about a 3-minute walk away.

The theatre is located in Parking Zone A (3€/h, first 15min free on Mon-Fri 8:00-19:00 and Sat 11:00-17:00). The nearest parking spaces are on Magasini Street, Lai Street, and Munga Street in marked areas.

Short-term stopping is permitted in front of the theatre building for passenger drop-off and pick-up (after that, parking is available in the city’s paid parking areas).
When entering through the main entrance, please note that there is a short flight of steps. Step-free access via a ramp is available through the theatre courtyard; for courtyard access, please inform the theatre in advance. Independent wheelchair access to the Small Hall is currently not available, but assistance can be provided. Accessibility may vary between halls.
For performances with available seating, visitors with visual or hearing impairments have the opportunity to reserve seats in the front rows. Additional information from the box office.

- new productions: dynamic prices, adjusted 2 weeks before the performance run
- performances premiered in previous seasons: lower price range, unless special project
- on-tour performances: depending on the location
- special projects (e.g. TAPTY1985. Descent into the Valley): special pricing, which may change during campaigns
- supporter tickets: guarantees a seat like a regular ticket, with a larger portion of the price going directly towards supporting the theatre’s activities

- discounted tickets for students, pensioners, ISIC/ITIC card holders (excluding special projects)
- 50% discount for visitors with disabilities and their accompanying support person

Gift cards are valid for one year from the date of purchase. Fienta gift cards can be used multiple times until their full value is redeemed. Any remaining balance on a golden gift card can be used at the theatre café. Additional payment can always be added if needed.
Aitan Lapsi charity campaign
The campaign helps children and young people from low-income families attend the theatre. You can support the campaign by donating your bottle return deposit at a recycling machine, placing your deposit bottles in the "Aitan Lapsi" collection box at the theatre, or by making a donation to the Aitan Lapsi Charity Foundation.

Children at the theatre
Please assess whether a production is suitable for your child before purchasing tickets — the theatre’s recommendations are provided with the production information when applicable. Every child occupying their own seat requires a ticket, regardless of age. Infants in arms are welcome only at children’s performances.
Latecomers can’t join the performance after it begins
During the performance, the theatre building is closed to other visitors in order to ensure a safe environment and an atmosphere appropriate for the performance.
Ticket refunds and exchanges
Under normal circumstances, the Theatre does not offer ticket refunds. Further details are available in the terms of purchase.
Uue Teatri kohvik
Asume Tartu Uues Teatris, fuajees, siiretega väiksesse saali, kapi- ja konteinerkohvikusse ja kõikjale, kus midagi toimub. Oleme avatud kui teatrimajas on etendus, kontsert või mõni muu sündmus. Juhtub, et niisamagi, kui tuleb tuju. Teeme teatriga kaasa ka majast väljas toimuvad hullused.
